This year, the beer festival is back to raising funds for the local Bollington community after raising £15,000 for this year’s Bollington Festival. Organisations receiving money from the festival in 2019 are:

  • Pott Shrigley Cricket Club who are celebrating their 100th year
  • Local Girl Guides group who are fund raising for a new centre to be built, possibly, on the Watermill Estate
  • ALEX project and “Stroke, Meet, Move and Improve”. Both groups, which are entirely volunteer run, work with Bollington Health and Leisure to provide exercise and physiotherapy for Parkinson’s and stroke survivors. They also provide a social environment for the carers

The Arts Centre is also a major benefactor of the festival and receive between £2000 and £2500 every year – ~£14,000 in total so far.
